Passion

Through the little study of philosophy that I can say I've experienced I some how made myself obsessed with the idea of passion. I have a very good friend how has a very good job working for a very good company and yet she tells me that its not really what she is passionate about. What she really desires is to create stationary, but when she says that this is what she desires doesn't she also mean that her most honest passion would be met if she were creating stationary. I am so confused why we choose to chain ourselves to these occupations that we truly despise.If I were given the opportunity to follow my passion to its fullest extent I would be writing about film or watching film on a daily basis. Obviously this is all overshadowed by the choice I have to attempt to make this passion a reality in my life. Though I lake the courage to just change  my life in such a dramatic way. Passion as I see it must be built upon other fundamental properties to be hoisted to the top of ones life.
